  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Pepperoncini Peppers Chopped, fresh or pickled
  • 2 tbsp Pepperoncini Juice From the jar of peppers
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Or substitute with 1 clove fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano Or use Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Bagel Chips
  • 2 plain Bagels Or substitute with onion or everything bagels
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Or use avocado oil

Method
 

Prepare Bagel Chips
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the bagels into wedges, aiming for even thickness to ensure they crisp up nicely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the bagel wedges with olive oil. Add garlic powder, dried oregano, and a sprinkle of salt, and stir to coat.
  3. Spread the seasoned bagel wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Make Dip
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped pepperoncini, and a splash of pepperoncini juice. Add garlic powder and oregano, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix everything until smooth and creamy.
Chill Dip
  1. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate while the bagel chips finish baking.
Serve
  1. Serve the bagel chips alongside the chilled Pepperoncini Dip.
