  • 4 slices Bread (Flatbread/Pita) Any soft, pliable bread works well.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into medium-sized meatballs, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter, and place on a baking tray.
  4. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a saucepan over medium heat and warm up your favorite tomato sauce for about 10 minutes.
  6. Once the meatballs are baked, lay down the preferred bread and arrange hot meatballs atop, pouring sauce over them.
  7. Add a dollop of creamy yogurt on top and serve warm.
