Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine tequila, fresh lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). If using an oven, line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  4. Remove the wings from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid. Grill for about 20-25 minutes or bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Allow the wings to rest for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
