Preparation Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with a light layer of non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Slice the Vidalia sweet onions into ¼-inch thick rounds.
  4. Arrange the sliced onion rounds in the baking dish in a single layer, sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and oregano over them.
  5. Distribute the unsalted butter evenly across the onion layers.
  6. Layer the cheeses, starting with the Italian blend, then cheddar, and finally Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a minute before serving warm.
