Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together tamari, miso, honey, rice wine vinegar, minced garlic, finely grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Coat the beef chuck roast in the marinade.
  4. Transfer the marinated beef into a roasting dish and pour in beef bone broth if desired.
  5. Cover the dish and roast for 3 hours, checking for tenderness.
  6. Shred the beef into large chunks and toss it back into the juices.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (232°C) and crisp the beef for about 15 minutes.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions before serving.
