Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Stuffed Italian Meatloaf
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and spinach together until well combined.
  4. Shape half of the meat mixture into a rectangle. Spread the cheesy filling evenly, then roll the meat to encase the filling and form a loaf shape.
  5. Transfer the meatloaf seam-side down into a greased baking dish and bake for about 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. About 10 minutes before done, spread marinara sauce over the top. Return to the oven.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes after removing it from the oven.
  8. Slice and serve warm with your favorite sides.
