  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, cinnamon, orange zest, melted butter, and beaten egg into the yeast mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until a rough dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.
  5. Gently punch down the risen dough, knead in raisins, then divide into 12 portions and shape into balls.
