  • 1 tbsp Gochujang Can substitute with sriracha
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil Vegetable oil for milder taste
  • 1 tbsp Sugar Coconut sugar or maple syrup as alternatives
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar Regular white vinegar works as well
Tofu Balls
  • 200 g Air Fried Tofu Balls Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Oil Canola or vegetable oil
Toppings and Serving
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Green Onions Optional
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds Optional
  • 2 cups Steamed Rice For serving

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the water, gochujang, tomato ketchup, sesame oil, sugar, and rice vinegar. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Combine Sauce and Tofu Balls: Pour the sauce into the pan with sautéed garlic, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Add the Tofu Balls: Carefully add air-fried tofu balls to the pan, tossing to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Adjust the Sauce Consistency: If needed, add more water for desired glaze thickness. Stir and simmer for another minute.
  6. Final Touch and Serve: Turn off heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over steamed rice or noodles.
