  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or half-and-half
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan or nutritional yeast for dairy-free
  • 2 tablespoons Horseradish adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Chives for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Prep the Aromatics: Finely dice one yellow onion and mince two garlic cloves.
  2. Mix the Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, dried onion, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four portions and shape each into a patty.
  4. Sear the Patties: Heat a skillet and add olive oil and butter. Sear patties for about five minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Cook the Sauce Base: In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  6. Deglaze the Skillet: Add dry white wine and simmer for about two minutes.
  7. Finish the Sauce: Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and horseradish. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  8. Simmer and Serve: Return the patties to the skillet and let them simmer for five minutes. Garnish with chives.
