  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts cut into slider-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Buttermilk or milk mixed with vinegar
  • 1 cup Hot Sauce preferably Frank's Red Hot
For the Coating
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour for crispy exterior
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch optional, for extra crunch
  • 1 tsp Paprika to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder to taste
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste
For Frying
  • 2 cups Oil for Frying peanut or vegetable oil
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Honey or agave syrup for vegan
  • 2 tbsp Butter or margarine as non-dairy alternative
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper adjust according to spice tolerance
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika adjust according to spice tolerance
For the Sliders
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian Rolls soft dinner rolls
  • 1 cup Pickle Chips preferably dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup Garlic Mayo store-bought or homemade

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine buttermilk and hot sauce, add chicken pieces, marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Coating: Whisk together flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture and set aside on a rack.
  4. Fry the Chicken: Heat oil to 350°F, fry chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Make the Glaze: Melt butter, mix in honey, hot sauce, cayenne, and paprika until smooth.
  6. Assemble the Sliders: Spread garlic mayo on rolls, add fried chicken, drizzle with glaze, and add pickle chips.
