Step-by-Step Instructions for Brownie Waffle
- In a small mixing bowl, stir together 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and 1/4 cup of monk fruit sweetener until you achieve a smooth, homogenous batter. If the mixture is too thick, gradually add 1 tablespoon of water to reach a stirrable consistency.
- While your batter rests, preheat your mini waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If needed, lightly grease the surfaces.
- Once preheated, carefully pour half of the batter into the center of the waffle maker. Spread it out slightly, and then sprinkle half of the remaining chocolate chips over the batter.
- Close the waffle maker and cook the brownie waffle for about 2-3 minutes, or until you see steam escaping.
- Carefully open the waffle maker and use a fork or spatula to remove the brownie waffle. Let it cool for a moment.
