Cooking Steps
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and chopped shallots. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and shallots are translucent.
- Pour whiskey into the skillet and scrape up any browned bits. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and chicken stock. Simmer for 5-7 minutes to thicken.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon some sauce over, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot alongside mashed potatoes or bread.
