Preparation
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 3 diced strawberries, 1 tablespoon sugar, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the strawberries soften and become syrupy.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and mash the strawberry mixture for a rustic texture or blend it for a smoother syrup.
- In a separate saucepan, gently heat ¾ cup of milk over medium-low heat until warm, frothing using a whisk or handheld frother.
- Spoon the prepared strawberry syrup into a mug, pour ¾ cup of strong brewed coffee or espresso over the syrup.
- Gently pour the frothed milk over the coffee and strawberry mixture, then stir gently to combine.
- Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers if desired.
- Serve warm or cool for an iced version, enjoying every sip!

Notes
For optimal flavor, prepare the latte fresh. Store leftover syrup in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months. Adjust sweetness based on strawberry ripeness.
