Ganache
  • 8 ounces Chocolate Dark or milk chocolate, adjust for sweetness.
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream Heavy cream preferred for optimal texture.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Use sea salt for a gourmet touch.

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Crush about 20 Biscoff cookies into fine crumbs. Combine crumbs with melted butter and cookie butter until it resembles wet sand. Press into tart pan and chill for 30 minutes.
Make the Ganache
  1. Heat 1 cup of whipping cream until it simmers. Pour the hot cream over 8 ounces of chopped chocolate. Let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk until smooth.
Assemble the Tart
  1. Pour the ganache into the chilled crust and smooth the top. Return to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours until set.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Slice the tart into wedges. Optionally top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings. Serve chilled.
