Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • shallow bowls
  • slotted spoon

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by gently patting the burrata balls dry with a paper towel to eliminate excess moisture. Set them aside on a clean plate.
  2. Create a cozy breading setup with three shallow bowls: first bowl for flour with salt and pepper, second for beaten eggs, and third for panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each burrata ball in flour, followed by the beaten eggs, and finally roll them in panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently for a solid coating.
  4. In a large frying pan, pour in vegetable oil to a depth of about 1–2 inches and heat over medium until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully place the coated burrata balls into the hot oil, cooking for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  6. While the burrata is draining, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha, honey, lime juice, and minced garlic in a mixing bowl to prepare the spicy dipping sauce.
  7. Arrange the golden Fried Burrata on a platter, drizzling the spicy sauce over the top and garnishing with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.

Always ensure your oil hits 350°F before frying; lower temperatures can lead to greasy burrata. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
