- Rinse glutinous rice in cold water 2-3 times until mostly clear. Soak in cold water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain rice, set up a steamer, and steam for 20-25 minutes until soft, sticky, and translucent.
- Combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves without boiling.
- Transfer steamed rice to a mixing bowl. Slowly pour in warm coconut sauce and gently fold together.
- Scoop sticky rice into bowls, slice mango, arrange it beside the rice and drizzle remaining coconut sauce over the dish.
