Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 200 g Unsalted Butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Condensed Milk sweetened
  • 1/3 cup Dulce de Leche or substitute with Nutella
  • Biscuit Cookies any subtly sweet biscuit
  • Cacao Powder or cocoa powder as substitute
For the Crunch
  • 1 cup Pecans or mix with other nuts

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients and ensure unsalted butter is at room temperature.
  2. Chop the biscuit cookies in a food processor into small pieces.
  3. Combine cacao powder with the chopped biscuit cookies in a bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix room temperature butter, sweetened condensed milk, and dulce de leche until smooth.
  5. Add chopped pecans to the dry mixture and pour the wet mixture over it. Stir until combined.
  6. Shape the mixture into a log using plastic wrap or parchment paper.
  7. Chill the wrapped salami in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or in the freezer for 2 hours.
  8. Once chilled, unwrap and dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
