Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and coat the baking sheet with oil.
  2. Rinse and completely dry the fresh mushrooms with towels.
  3. Finely grind the sunflower seeds in a blender or food processor.
  4. Combine the ground sunflower seeds, almond flour, garlic powder, sea salt, paprika, dried parsley, and optionally parmesan cheese in a zippered bag and mix well.
  5. Whisk together the beaten egg and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  6. Dip each mushroom in the egg-butter mixture, then place it in the bag with the breading and shake until evenly coated.
  7. Arrange the coated mushrooms in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway for even cooking.
  9. Broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes while keeping a close eye on them.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
