Preparation Steps
- In a medium saucepan, gently mix condensed milk, whipping cream, white chocolate chips, egg yolks, and vanilla extract over medium-high heat until smooth.
- Once the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat to medium-low and stir for about 10 to 12 minutes until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir vigorously for another minute. Transfer the mixture to a heatproof bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, grease your hands with butter and scoop small portions of the mixture, rolling them into smooth balls.
- Roll each brigadeiro ball in the sugar coating until fully coated.
- Place the coated brigadeiros in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- After freezing, use a kitchen torch to carefully caramelize the sugar coating until golden.
