  1. Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water until they float, about 2–3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown the sausage for 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
